So finally getting to review this, its been a bloody busy day! Thank you so much :) its so wonderfully written. That 1am phone call, Harry would never leave Nikki when shes so vulnerable like that, shows just how much he cares for her both as a friend and perhaps as something more. I also think you have exactly how Nikki would react to her fathers death down to a T! (weird saying that, never quite understood why you say "down to a T" why not X or R? :P )

Awww, I love so much about this, how George knew to call Harry, how Harry looks after Nikki, and then she asks about Hungary...just so beautiful :)
I'd quite happily read a lot more 'my dad's dead' fics if they're all as good as this one - which if you wrote them, they would be!

Can't believe I got here first, I love their conversation at the end, thought my heart had stopped when Nikki suddenly starts questioning him about Hungary...beautiful ending and George of course is brilliant. I have a great mental image of him batting away possible unsuitables. There must be something about them when even the bartender knows who to call! Thanks for writing, I always get a smile when something by you pops up on the list. :)
