I really love the humanization you gave to Joe throughout the story. And such a sad ending! ;_; But so well written and thoughtful. I enjoyed it a lot! I love the title too. That's a big part of what attracted me to your story and made me read it.

my own work, but since this is fan fiction, I don't feel too bad using them any

AAaaawwww!!! I've only skim-read this one so far (As one of what Laurie Smith once called "Joe's Coterie of Happy Customers", I'm always on the look-out for Joe fictions, so I was intrigued when I saw this one), but this is excellent stuff, and I'm looking forward to Chapter Five. Lynne Bryant is a great character, somewhat like Isaac Asmiov's "robo-psychologist" Susan Calvin; I'd had a thought to do a cross-over in which Ms. Calvin helps Joe come to terms with losing David, but you have effected this kind of story, much better than I could have done!

Oooh, goody goody goody! You know, I thought your name seemed familier, just couldn't place it...thanks for reviwing my story, BTW-- share and share alike. Very tight, atmospheric writing in this...somewhat stark and quiet, and kinda moody-- but that's good! I like that! All right, I've rambled enough. Take care.
