The problem with the date was small enough to feel finished but the story just hints towards the rest, but the large problem was there too - unfinished, but having the feeling that it has a solution that will come later. Then, of course, the dash of humor at the end. Just awesome.
LucifaelsBride 2007-05-26 ch 1,	abuseDo you want to know why this never happened in the book? Because in the book JK Rowling was trying to portray a real character, not a larger-than-life figure. You're just chanelling into your stories what you want yourself to be like. You want to be uber-powerful, you want every girl in town to want you, you want to have a gaze so powerful you could terrify a person with one look. And since you can't have it, you're portraying your desires into Harry/ Harry is a real teen with real teen problems. He's not some great hero who needs to be the center of attention. That's what you made him sound like in your story, where you make do that little soap opera with everyone watching. Harry is not like that...he's not all great and not everybody want him so badly it hurts...now that I think about, basically all you stories have girls hanging with thier mouths drooling after Harry. This is just mysogyny in disguise. What you really want to get through is that Harry is superior to everyone and everything... God I hate fanfics like this...you turn a really awesome story of a teen who is human and kind and forgiving into something like this where he believes that he's the only one that is hurt and that everyone has to go on their knees to apologize to him. You've never even considered Ron's point of view. You're just trying to portray him as a holier-than-thou male version of a Mary-Sue. This is not realistic in any sense of the word, rather it's uber-u Go to google...type in Mary Sue Litmus Test and take it.

It embodies the lovely warm H/Hr feelings that are also in Backwards Compatible (which I hope one day you'll finish, although I guess - it's been fandom aeons since an update - the odds aren't good). Anyway, thanks again for this story.

I believe it is a little more believable that the canon version and I also prefer the harry/hermione combination too. I am also glad that you had it take place in front of the other houses because it gave them a glimpse of what life is really like for the boy-who-lived.
HarmonyLovely 2006-11-28 ch 1,	abuseSo I was surfing around because I am bored out of my mind and I choose a random Harmony story to read...because we all know they are the best couple in HP...even if the sadly don't end up together. Anyway, back to the story, I love Ron and Harry's friendship...but there is a tiny part of me that hates their friendship. Because it should be both ways, where as sometimes, Harry seems to be the only one acting like a friend. I also love the Harry and Hermione fluff...I just love, love, love it! So even though this story was written forever ago...I still decided to leave a review. Rebbie

If this isn't the end and you dont plan on writing more or if it is and you still dont plan on writing more i wouldnt mind giving it a shoot and finishing it. Course id change abit of it lol... or i might just make my own like this sep no ron forgiveness!!
