That said I agree with how Harry always forgave Ron far too quickly.

That's how that scene should be done. Rowling allows Ron to get away with too much. It's time for him to face the consequences of his actions.

I read this years ago, and just found it again. Even without your incipient H/Hr (fine with me), this the way canon should have been. JKR seems to think that Ron should get away with his various misbehaviors with no consequences at all.

I Love, Love, Lovevity, Love this story. Reflects what I always thought should have happened at the end of the first task in the Fourth book. JK through the whole series seemed to let the Weasley get off way to easy. Glad you acted in a more natural way about it.

glad harry told ron off, the git. i dont think ron deserves to be forgiven though , but that's just my opinion.

Something was wrong with the way Harry just let Ron walk all over him and allowed Ron to treat Hermione so bad. If Harry had just pulled Ron into line more often he could have saved himself so many problems and not have to deal with Molly. Great that he asked Hermione to the ball but no kiss!
