Nice little vignette!

A very powerful story that highlights both Mike's love for his daughter and his friendship with Steve Keller. Your use of the present tense throughout this short gem makes the action so immediate and allows the reader to really enter into Mike's feelings as things unfold!

The Mike Stone character was one of the great tv dad's of the 70's. I would have loved to seen more of the father/daughter interaction on the show. Thanks for a great short story that builds on that relationship! Having Buddy boy by his side through this was great, too!
