Well, Gobo's appearance was a very pleasant surprise. Great job with that!

Ronno is slightly out of character if I think about the movie versions of him. But if I think about the books, which is where you are getting your main inspiration, I think that it works okay. It just shows how much is changed when books are adapted into movies.

Faline is a little cold here. In both the book and the movie, she was sweet and pert. I guess she was a little curt in Bambi 2, but I digress.

Interesting beginning...I love the original Bambi story, and I own it, I read it every winter. I loved seeing Karus here.

I did notice that Ronno does have a "wound" in both the novel and the films. In the book, he limps. In the film, he has a wounded ear. Whatever...
