I've never thought of Lupin as being like this, but it makes so much sense. The story could have made him seem whiny, but it doesn't, it's just horribly, wonderfully sad. Well well well done. Off to read the rest! :D
FlamencoPenguin 2005-05-01 ch 10,	abuseOh wow. This is the best post prank fic that I have ever read. That includes Redeeming Time by Minx at the Howl Kingdom and all the other post prank fics there as well as Waltz for the Moon by Naratu. This was incredible. Look- Redeeming Time is my all time favorite fic. And I think that you just topped that, looks dazed. The organization of this fic placed with the appropriate descriptions and relationships and dialogue made it incredible. The flashback things incorporated into the chapters definitely didn't hurt anything either. You are one of the only authors that I know that gave the prank excruciatingly strong significance. Remus usually forgives Sirius so easily and he never, never, remembers it and is hurt by it after school ends. Your characterizations of both Remus and Sirius flow nicely around this concept, making them real and poignant. Your little details about Remus's past and Sirius's time in Azkaban aslo adds flesh to the story. Harry is also added nicely. At first, I was reluctant to read this fic because of his involvement. I ususally do not like how authors show the relationship between him and Sirius, or even Remus. I think that you hit the nail on the head with Harry's angst and hurt and feelings of lonliness. The scene right before Ron comes to Harry, where you can see into Harry's mind, is wonderful. His anger is just so real and thoughtless and appropriate. He is not a 'rebel without cause' or deeply understanding of his life. He is just Harry and Harry in a lot of pain. SO: I'm sorry for the incredibly long review. I know that this is completely out of the blue, but I think that I kind of had to say it, ne? So Thank you for such a marvelous fic and I will be thinking of it, I assure you.
