That was just...
That was amazing. Simply amazing.

I had skimmed across the title / summary of this several times before, and actually bookmarked it for future reads, but I finally managed to make time to read last night.

...And as unfortunate as it is, I've now got to go into work after pulling an all nighter, because I simply could NOT stop reading this. Serious applauds to you, right here and now.

I have to say, my favorite chapters were three and seven. Three, because I LOVE the interactions between Sebastian and his cats. Good lord, I was squeeing over how utterly adorable it was. Seven, mainly because of the scene of Ciel and the cat toy. Not only was it ADORABLY written, but it much reminded me of the first time I had ever presented my kitten a toy. But ALL the chapters were simply fantastic in their own ways.

I am a rather big fan of Alois (okay.. admittedly, the kid creeps me out sometimes), and I loved how you portrayed him here. Able to cop out such sympathetic feels for him, and yet still leaves you wondering if all the screws are fitted correctly.
And Claude truly lives up to his title of... creepy pastry maker.

And now, I'm sitting here practically crying, as I have to get ready to leave, and can't continue on NOW to the sequel. But oh how I will be jumping straight into this *claps hands excitedly*.

So I will end my review here. Overall, AMAZING writing. Great and vivid details. Wonderful first-person writing (as I've noticed quite a few writers have had trouble with that in the past). I absolutely love how the characters are portrayed, and bonus prop to your author notes. I found myself chuckling at several of them (well, the warnings and what not), without being overly distracted from the story... if that makes sense.

Anywho Ta-ta, and I shall see you in 'Nevermore'!
