Wow. This was awesome. You couldn't have described Hephaestion's place in Alexander's life any better. I hate to see him portrayed as weak or subservient. We know, as you stated, he was much stronger than anyone thought. Probably stronger than Alexander in some regards. This was a beautiful tribute to the man we have grown to love.
