I like your story! It’s well written and if I wasn’t reading it on a computer, I would call it a page turner. Still, you’ve made a big mistake with the explanation of the trace. It seems like you didn’t read the books or you’ve forgotten Dumbledore’s explanation. The trace doesn’t work the way you think it does, it’s not the case that the ministry knows if an underage witch or wizard preforms magic. The ministry knows when someone uses magic in the immediate vicinity of a minor. So, when for example the foursome is in London, the ministry can pinpoint Ginny’s location when the trio uses magic. J.k.’s explanation is that in a pureblood home, the parents are responsible to make sure their children don’t use magic.
Another, minor mistake is that Harry and Cedric (you make the mistake in Harry’s dream) don’t run towards the Triwizard Cup and grab it accidentally at the same time. No, they first talk about it, and Harry suggests they take it at the same time.
All in all, I love the story. It’s not ‘that’ original, but good entertainment. Keep up the excellent work!

Good chapter. Some routine but generally good dialogue. Only thing is I'm uptodate now so have to wait for the next chapter! :)

Good chapter. It would benefit with a reminder at the start, eg, 'Ginny knew how distressed Harry must be after reading the Prophet's reports that he might somehow be responsible for the deaths of those closest to him. She ran upstairs... etc. And I'm puzzled about why the Dursley's house would be safe. If it's to do with Kreacher I still don't know what it means. But other than that, it's a good read.

Very good chapter with lots of good things - and quite lively considering everything happens in one place - well mainly around Harry's bed! This chapter is a good example of how to make fiction interesting and immersive even stuck in one, theoretically-boring location. It would work on a theatre stage I think. Enter Mrs Weasley, stage left, etc.

Still plenty of minor glitches and flaws but the good far outweighs the distractions.

Harry casting that spell on Ginny really fooled me. I'd forgotten about the trace and I did wonder if Voldemort had somehow possessed him with that last curse. I liked the idea of those Death Eaters still wandering far away.

Very good chapter but far too unbelievable that Harry could dodge curses from several Death Eaters including Voldemort in such a confined space for so long. That spoilt the ending for me. Now, if there had already been a portkey and Harry dived for it just as Voldemort entered then that might have made sense and been just as dramatic.

Apart from that, the use of the map was a good one, and Harry stupidly going off on his own again is probably in character. Some good tension and action. Don't think he got the sword but don't think he needs it now if he's got the fangs.
