Good ending! I liked the twist. An interesting story.

This is a wonderfully bittersweet little piece. It's endearing and sad to look at Mary and James as imagining Laura, considering that Mary's time in the hospital was the darkest in their relationship. In this context, Laura becomes part of their bond. Glad to read a story from you!
