I hope you keep writing these things, I love seeing any further glimpses into Heth's story you choose to write down. I like the Weregild background - I liked the idea in Dol Amroth Yule, but it didn't occur to me at the time that it would be a tricky situation to enact. Leave it to Faramir to pull it off, though!

My husband quickly found me buried among boxes reading Captain My Captain and having to drag me from my phone! I hope soon to see further developments on the Hethlin/Imrahil story line :)

I love this story. It tells so much about the common people in the war and about Faramirs Rangers, who are an underrepresented group in fanfiction generally.
Also, Faramir is very in character. He shows the same attitude here as he will show when he lets Frodo and Sam go, doesnt he?

All in all: A well writen story with wonderful characters and a side of the war one does not see often. Well done!

It is a side of Faramir we do not usually see (doing something illegal) but I like it a lot. :)
