aww, this story is lovely :) I really, really enjoy the 2nd person narration as well. its not an easy writing tactic but you portrayed it beautifully. I don't often read AU adaptations but this one caught my eye as coffee shops are ah very alluring setting to me. the relationship between itachi and sakura was perfect and sweet and I liked how he slowly opened up around her. also, I really enjoy when he and naruto are portrayed as friends (not yaoi, I despise that) as they are my two favorite characters in canon. they just seem like they would get along. lol, and the scene with sasuke was funny. he is so much more negative than his nii-san. overall, you did an amazing job on this and I look forward to reading more from you in the future! :D

Fantastic story. You write so honestly and have a great knack for final lines. I loved the contrast between the bright, sunny Naruto and a pragmatic and reserved Itachi, with friendly but non-melodramatic Sakura somewhere in the middle. Your descriptions were vivid and did an amazing job of bringing life to the characters and a near-tangible atmosphere to the coffee shop. You worked all the characters into this universe very effectively, and it was an interesting choice to give Tenten the only role of waitress. I liked the idea of being "careful" about the pink hair, though I'm dying to know the reason for Itachi's absence! Anyway, great work - looking forward to reading more from you!

So much character imagery on Itachi and other characters like Ino, but so little describing Sakura...physically.

Understood that this is shown through Sakura's point-of-view and I understood her emotional side. From the calories of the cake and smoking is bad for you and that the cafe is something of a good thing since she moved in to the dump. I liked that a lot. Physical attraction isn't as important, but I would have liked see what Sakura looked like and what she wore. Which models her character as well.

I thought there were a little too much of repitive ands. Some were necessary to create the style of the story, but others, I felt, were excessive.

Lots of feeling. The melancholy mood of wishing it was the average cup of joe instead of alcohol. I liked.

I like my coffee a little light. With no cream or milk, rarely with a dash of sugar.
