Thanks for the story, this is sort of off topic but it reminded me of a Supernatural (tv show) convention I went to with friends. We dressed up for the costume part, something I'd never done and never thought I'd ever do but it was fun. People in the elevators who were staying at the hotel and had nothing to do with the convention did stare but in a good way and we had a blast answering questions and going out for lunch etc in costume still. So yeah, this story brought up some fond memories, us moms don't get to do stuff like that very often. I really enjoyed the story, all the characters were spot on as with all of your stories. Again, I'm so glad you're back writing.

Loved this! My husband and I used to frequent Sci-fi conventions back when we were dating. Strange, but tons of fun! Now he's taking our son to his first con this September. Have a great time- I'm envious!

well, they were having too much fun at that convention... even cap got into it with the wookie.. lol... wish I were there with them... i love those conventions.. though sadly my straight friends only come to see the scantily clad ladies and my gay friends.. well they just wait for pride ... ah well.. still.. I envy you for going to the Dragon con.. just gonna have to stay home and read my comics and watch my Emergency DVDs.. lol
