Zoser 3/18/13 . chapter 18Great chapter - fast paced and action packed! |
Zoser 3/18/13 . chapter 9Jack clone - Jay - is such an interesting character. I'm glad you chose to write about him. Some stories I look at the chapter count and think 'Oh god I have to wade through another x amount of chapters' but here I looked with delight that I had so much yet to read! |
Zoser 3/18/13 . chapter 4I love the unexpected humor between Teal'c and Daniel. |
friend 2/21/13 . chapter 27 Really good story. I agree about including the memorial service but you blew it with Arlington. There are heroes buried all over the country, in every state with a National Cemetery. Georgia has two I think and next time you bury somebody, maybe you could inform readers about that. I hope you follow up on what you started in this story with the Asgard enhancing Jack and Jay. |
PatriciaS 2/21/13 . chapter 27Nice set of chapters rounding off an interesting story which felt plausible considering SG1 etc. Enjoyed your characters and their history as well as the tensions and how you set them up for the future. Thanks for sharing. |
Chris7221 2/19/13 . chapter 27I'm on my phone, so this will be a short review. I apologize for the brevity; if you desire clarification feel free to send me a PM. I've been following this story for a while, and have read it all the way through. I must say I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad story. The chapters were short but sweet, it was written well without being overwritten, and the pacing was excellent. Updates weren't constant, but they came at a decent rate. But it all seems kind of pointless. At the end of the story, we're almost back where we started, minus one Colonel. A lot happened, but nothing really went anywhere. There was no resolution to a plot (maybe not even a plot) and little in the way of character development. I see some interesting threads emerging, and I ask, okay, now what? It seems like the first act of a story, not a story in and of itself. I see you plan on continuing, though, so I will definitely be following. I did like this story, I just feel it isn't really complete. |
dpdp 2/19/13 . chapter 27Great story. |
Anaika Skywalker 2/19/13 . chapter 27Wonderful ending. Will be looking forward to the sequel. |
RoseA26 2/19/13 . chapter 27I have been rather slack with my reviewing in the latter half of your story, but I have enjoyed reading it, thanks. A sequel would be great, especially if Jack features in it as well...die-hard Jack fan here, lol! Finally, you speak the truth when stating that none of our Servicemen and women should be forgotten, they do an amazing job and I give thanks that there are such dedicated folk out there willing to sacrifice so much to keep us, the Jo Public, safe in our homes and country. Thanks :D |
Saissa 2/19/13 . chapter 27I said it before - I would LOVE to read a sequel about Jay and Jen Hailey! Thanks. |
dpdp 2/15/13 . chapter 26Very nice. |
