I'm obsessed with the show and I looooove this fanfic! It's exactly what I think all of the characters feel beneath the surface. I definitely agree that Korra and Mako should take some time to themselves, but can you really kick Korra (the Avatar) out of Team Avatar? Haha but anyway I love the drama :) Good job!
