Good chapter. I so wish Ruby would just leave things alone, I can sort of see her curiosity but it is all going to end horribly I should imagine but I guess she just needs to find that out herself, no matter how much warning she might get from others. It was nice to see Charlie and Joey so close and enjoying some time together and I'm sure they will chose the perfect name, nice they want to include Charlie's dad's name as part of it too.

Charlie and Joey are continuing to bond through their pregancies, which is good they will need that when both babies are born. Strength in togetherness.

Ruby cannot be doing worse than trying to find Grant during this time. Even though it is a hard thing to say, it would almost be better for Ruby to be still angry with Charlie over the impending baby then her sneaking around trying to make connection with a rapist. If Charlie ever finds out about this it will definitely put a strain on her pregancy.

Oh dear, I really wish Ruby would follow her friends advice. I know she just wants to make Grant's world implode, but it really will just open a whole can of worms for their family. And its nice to see the girls enjoying some time together. Joey's comment about not calling him Hugo Junior made me laugh. As ever looking forward to more.

Yup I'm sure there are people out there who would get off watching to pregnant have sex lol As for their son's name I'm sure Martha and maybe Hugo who like him to be named Jack in honour of her last husband and Hugo's cousin, Jack Ross Buckton-Collins, JR or JC for short, he'll be an evil angel or a good little devil lol As for Ruby, I wish she had of taken Geoff's advise and not continued to find out about Grant Bledcoe! Disaster is about to befall them!

CJ Don't need stress and that's exactly what they're running into if Ruby goes ahead with these plans. Ultimately she's putting her whole family in danger which is a real concern.
Enjoying the CJ baby moments- such an important decision for naming the little guy :)

I really hope that Ruby's stupid search doesn't cause Charlie to lose the baby. Hopefully Sarah's birth will go ok.

Great chapter. I'm glad Charlie told Ruby what she wanted to know despite how hard it was for her. I'm just concerned it won't be enough and what with her hatching a plan I'm convinced nothing good will come of it. It was lovely that Watson bought those gifts for the babies and they seemed to go down very well too. I'm really enjoying this, excellent work.

I am glad that Charlie told Ruby what she wanted to know, even if she really didn't want. Ruby was very grown up in asking...but I get the feeling that it is not the end of the matter! Loved the scene between Charlie and Watson. It's good that Ruby wants to change her surname.

Ruby should just leave it there now. She should trust what Charlie has tld her and realise that no good could ever come from finding him But I am pleased with the effort she's making with Charlie and especially changing her name. And how sweet was Watson in this chapter?!

Ruby is taking advantage of the impending birth of the babies, to find out about her father, the man who attacked Charlie when she was a teenager. Not a good idea on Rubys part. Great chapter as always. Thane3

Charlie should know what Ruby is like by now, the less you tell her things the more she will want to know. So with Charlie not giving her enough info about Grant, Ruby is going to go looking for the answers herself :0( I can see massive heartache and headaches coming up for all of them :0( Aww Aunty Watson is so sweet buy the babies some clothes :0)

Concern rising over Rubys plan, naturally she wants to know who her father is but trusting her mothers instinct would be better than getting into trouble. Loved Watson and her bashfulness, such a sweet gesture with the baby gifts.

Great chapter. It was nice to see them making a bit more progress and Ruby being interested in the babies and I think the way it's naturally going to make her ask questions about her own childhood is pitched just right. I thought the way Charlie responded and tried to protect her from how things really happened and how their parents behaved was really good and fantastically written too, although I fear what finding out more about her father might bring.

As for the mean review, I just don't get why you're wasting your time reading something you don't like, let alone spending time reviewing it. Nobody is making you and there's no need to be mean when someone is putting in so much effort with writing stuff which lots of people, including myself, really enjoy.

Ruby being curious about her father is never going to lead anywhere good. But I have to say I like the Ruby in this, the mature one that is seeing past her own feelings and trying to take in to account what it was like for Charlie. I love how you're taking your time in not making it all alright in their relationship, you're writing the awkward tension exceptionally well. And it was sad to read about how Charlie's parents behaved and although she's only doing what she thinks is best, after all the secrets it's probably worth Charlie being honest with Ruby about her parents too.

Oh and Guest, if you don't like it don't read it, it really is quite simple. I find your comment both ridiculous and unnecessary and only really wanting to provoke reaction. IJKS is a wonderful writer and her stories are always different and unique. So kindly take your comments elsewhere instead of being intentionally nasty when there really is no need at all.

Great to see Ruby making an effort with Charlie but I'm not sure about the future direction of seeking out her father, troubled times may lay ahead
