Hey! Sorry I haven't reviewed in so long, I've just been so... busy. This was really, really good. It's kind of sad that /Prey/ is over so soon, but I can't wait to see what you have in store next! :D

One thing. Just as 109 is raising the bullet, and pointing one end of it somewhere... Yeah, somewhere in that whole sequence, something in the wording went slightly wrong. And that's all I have to negatively critique. All the rest of it was terrific!

Okay, first off (as my first time posting a review on this story) I'd just like to say that I love how you write your characters. They're all solid and three-dimensional with their own personalities, thoughts, and feelings, which is quite an amazing feat considering how many characters you have in this story.

One minor criticism however, is that in this section 10's reply needs to be in italics;

"Are you sure you're all right to battle a machine?"
I'm fine. I smiled at her and we took each other's hands.

Apart from that however, I really liked this chapter and am eagerly awaiting the next update with the final battle with the Hunter!

Once again, concentrating all your power in a smaller chapter has won the day. This. Was. EXCELLENT! The timing was perfect, the action was intimate and heartfelt. Plus we've got almost all of the second gen-punks on board.

It's terrific to see 10 doing stuff now. She's a sturdy and feisty kid, for all of her parent's fussing. 4 and 6 have never given her enough credit, and I feel that it's effectively led the audience to underestimate her, as well. But I've never been so sure of that. I've always had a lot of faith in 10, and that she could be an excellent resource, if she were given the chance. Well, here she goes! :D

ACK, it took me entirely too long to make it through this! But it was lovely!

The only thing I feel compelled to point out is in the first paragraph of 15's POV. She digs through a cupboard until she finds what she's looking for, even though she has no idea why it's there. Seems a little... Contradictory. Not like when she's looking for the paraffin, because she's seen it in there and knows that it's there.

But that's the only thing that stuck out in this chapter. Pretty good! :D

47 and 81 would make such a good couple! I've always liked them together, but I've always put these thoughts aside because you've said they aren't into each other. NOW THERE'S HOPE!

I can't express how much I LOVE how in-character 7 is. A whole chapter from her POV? Awesome! All action-packed and tense! She's such a warrior-and yet, such a woman at the same time. The ending was so perfectly sweet. :D
