this was a great story

-whistles and cheers- WO! Oh my dearest of mighty loves! This was the best sap/fluff/duo torture/angst I have ever read on this site and will probably stay so! I hope you write more like these because they cause people to see the harshness yet joy you can find in life. But then again it could be my overly emotional self talking...who knows? Anyways, you should revise the chapters bit by bit and when you have the energy and time for it to fix the spelling errors that drove me wild! If you'd like, I could maybe do it, or help beta any works coming up, but I'm pretty sure you can find better offers seeming as school, band, life etc is doing its best to keep me of my lazy **... -.-" Enough of my chatter, have a good life and enjoy writing!

I wasn't that much of a fan of Trowa till I read this, now I totally adore him! He was such an awesome friend!I think maybe I'll start reading other stories that don't center on Duo. Maybe. We'll see. lol

Even though Duo was completely different from the show, I felt his characterization was justified. The others as well.

This is one of my favorties (I couldn't stop talking about it to my sister. She's not a fan of shonen-ai, but she actually liked this story. Consider that a huge accomplishement. lol)It's a very well thought out plot, and an awesome read. Good job.

Ah, this was a bittersweet chapter. It's nice to see that Duo IS still in there, but his spirit's been so broken, it's going to take a long time to recover.

Uh oh, and then Heero turning up at the end...this may not be pretty!

Oh God, this was a heart-breaking chapter. Poor Duo. NO wonder he just stopped trying to communicate. What was the point? It's a wonder he's still alive at this point after everything that's happened to him. And apparently abandoned by all his friends to make it worse..

Nice to see that Quatre didn't totally abandon Duo, although the cynical part of me is thinking that it might just have been a way to salve his conscience.

THis bit was super-scary, setting up what condition Duo will be in..
"Now Preventer Barton, let's be civil and reasonable. No one goes into hard time and comes out unscathed," he said as a preparatory warning.

Oh boy. I liked how the very last sentence referred to the Warden's 'luxury office'. I imagine this will be a stark contrast to the prisoners' conditions..

Seriously, this line and the next paragraph had hairs rising on the back of my neck...
"You know I didn't steal from you. In all the time we've known each other, have I ever taken anything from you?"
*sniff* Of course Duo wouldn't steal from a friend, OR lie about it..

Even if Quatre wasn't directly involved in setting Duo up - and I really, really hope he wasn't - he's partly responsible for what happened.

I was cheering when Trowa walked out on him, and he was perfectly right. If Quatre can treat a supposed friend like that, what will stop him doing the same to his lover? Quat really needed to hear that!

I love how you write Trowa as the very protective, concerned friend.

honestly, i don't want relena to die here. why? it's too painless. she died instantly without suffering. i prefer that she's been put to maximum prison, the same place where Duo had been put so that she can have a taste of her own medicine.

in reality, i guess heero would have killed relena by now. but since the story revolves around that **, he can't kill her right? her manipulation makes the story interesting.

i just hope her pretty face rot and hell and she'll get more than what happened to duo in the prison.

although from the anime i watched, i think relena is not that bad. but still, she's a ugly ** ** here. i really hate her.

Chapter 16 is the last chapter right? I wasn't sure until I saw the 'The End' because the story wasn't marked as 'Complete'.

Anyway, good story and I enjoyed it tremendously, although sometimes the characters were a little OOC. A few minor grammar mistakes throughout the whole fic, but overall it was pleasant reading. Huge paragraphs tend to make my eyes ache and therefore I skim them quickly, but luckily it wasn't too bad. Other fics I've read were worse.

At the beginning of the story I liked how it was Trowa who was the only one who didn't abandon Duo, and the way you wrote how he tried to free Duo was very realistic, instead of the usual 1x2 pairing. I was a little annoyed by how quickly the others turned to Duo when he was freed by Trowa, when they didn't try to help him in the prison for the previous two years. Although they did send parcels...it was like, Duo's freed! Let's go be friends again! But that didn't ruin the story much; maybe it was because, on a deeper level, they had once been Gundam pilots before and went through the war together.

All in all, I love this story very much, and I do hope you write more like this. Although I haven't read ALL your stories yet. >.< Kudos! (And sorry for such a long review!) Oh, and can you mark this story as 'Complete'? I'm a sickler for tiny little details like that. Thanks!
