I would first like to commend you for writing the one and only House of Leaves fic on this site. Kudos to you, good sir. Secondly, wonderful job on the writing. This is actually quite an intriguing idea. Are you planning to continue this? I would certainly read it. I think you could go really far with it, too.

That said, this is a lovely piece, and it's a shame it isn't more widely read. You have a good sense of the rhythm of prose ("a pact made in blood") and how to structure a sentence for maximum impact. Your story-telling skills are top-notch, too, though sometimes the narrative does seem a little detached and the reader a little distant from these characters.

Still, as someone outside of the fandom, this was easy and enjoyable to read.

Some minor typo/SPAG issues, but I don't put them in my main reviews, PM if you want a rundown. Good work, though, really :)
