I'm enjoying this so much, you have no idea. The whole Castle set up is the perfect vehicle for this AU and I love both shows so it's perfect from every angle :)

I haven't been able to catch up on this awesome series until now. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I finished the last chapter. I completely understand the writer's block thing, combined with the obligations of non-writing aspects of our lives, and I hope that you'll be able to return to this series soon. :)

Take as much time as you need. First of all, you owe no one an apology. Your writing is a gift to us, and sometimes writers run out of metaphorical money. You should be writing this for /you./

Second, don't be afraid to write through this block. You don't always have to know where you're going, just take a deep breath and go. The important thing as that you're going. You got on the train. Think of your story as a mine for precious jewels: To get to the jewels, you have to mine through the rock and dirt. It's okay to write a bunch and discard it all -that's called drafting. Mines discard or replace the dirt, but without that, they wouldn't find the jewels.

Finally, don't worry about your readers. Those who respect you and your work will be nothing but supportive of your hiatus.
