Unfair! Can you imagine my disappointment - bordering on despair really - to find there is no 'next' button with the chapter? Why is it that all the truly promising and brilliant stories are only a 'sample', soon to be published? And I'm always too late to catch them here. I feel like crying...
This was undoubtedly the best dialogue between the pair of them I've ever read, save for Austen's original words. I only wish I could read the rest too... Oh well...

Magnificent! Breathtaking! So true to the book and to both characters, and all highlighted by excellent, lively, dynamic, and absolutely perfect dialogue I believe Austen herself could not have matched. Your depth and intricacy of this alternate plot are simply marvelous. Thank you so much for sharing this story. I'm in awe.

WOW this was amazing! the characters were so delightfully in character, even if elizabeth was behaving in a way that was slightly out of character for her. the writing was utterly fantastic, very jane austen :P brilliant job, and i can't WAIT for your book to come out! :D

So, I read this story a while back when the whole thing was posted here and well this was on my To Review list. If you could believe I maintain one. Anyways, I loved your story and your portrayal of the characters, especially Darcy. Even though this has been attempted a lot of times, Unequal Affections presented quite a fresh perspective. Thanks for sharing and I hope you write more and share it with us here.

What?! Why is this labeled as complete? This is a great story, but it's not even close to done. I hope you plan on adding to it, because I'd be very sad if it just stopped here. Your description of Darcy is a very affectionate man, and I want to see more of it, and I want to see how he wins Elizabeth over, or even if he has to be in her presence to make her love him or if she just can't stop thinking of him until she loves him. But I'm a bit confused by something: does she know that he separated Bingley from her sister, because she doesn't seem mad at him at all. Please update again soon and frequently!
