Oho! I'm so curious to see what all is going on! Why was Esme going to Australia? Why does she want them to turn around? And why won't she tell them either of those things? Wolfgang's reaction to his mother seeing his room though! That got a chuckle out of me :) By the way, I love this chapter's title :p

Well, Esmé certainly is not getting along with anyone. I can understand being frustrated with Volger, the captain, and perhaps even Wolfgang. But it seems like she's not even trying to be polite with Alek, who she'd see as another crew member. If she's willing to tick off crew members like this, I wonder how long it will be before the crew starts 'pushing back'.

So, I'll be eagerly awaiting the next update!

Oh God that seemed so short! Poor Wolfgang, poor count Volger. Esme scares me too. I wonder what would happen if she acts like that with Deryn? I imagine a fight would break out if she wasn't sick. This was a nice chapter, keep up the good work.

Still lovin it. But I'm starting to think either Dimitri was the other Tesla boy, or some crazy ass child molester. Maybe even Tesla himself, or his twin. I apologize if I sound weird and presumptuous but you're kinda missing the square sails and the jibboom and the head sails. Other than that it's perfect! I love Esmeralda's reaction to Volger. It keeps her in character as a gypsy, but still shows the whole, "hell hath no fury then a woman scorned". UPDATE PLEASE

I know the chanty in this chapter! I sail on a 3 master ship during the summer, and this is really accurate. Not as accurate as it could be, but the closest version of sailing I've read on this site! I love this.

Ahhhh, she's as feisty as ever I see! I was a bit worried you were going to kill her off there - I can't say it wouldn't have made a good plot twist, but I'm glad you didn't. I'm so looking forward to seeing how Esme and Volger resolve things, and how Wolfgang plays into that!

what she said and did back to him really does sting, poor thing. But of course we know why she would do such things, I would probably do the same if not more.
At least, Wolfgang and Volger aren't that...difficult with each other now. Things would be much harder if they were.
i love seeing when this story is updated! it's like the best distraction from homework! and speaking of which, i have to go back to science and french before I forget *sigh*

Hi! Sorry I haven't reviewed in forever, but I'm still reading and more importantly STILL LOVIN IT! OMG ESMERALDA'S BACK!? and I'm actually glad Esmeralda didn't just forgive him, because that would make her a... pushover? I hope that's the right word. And it's kind of funny how she slaps him. Oh wow. Way to go count Volger! I admire the boldness. Now things are going to be tense. I feel kind of bad for Wolfgang, right after his father-son bonding moment he's scared to death by his mother nearly drowning and now he has to deal with her being mad at Volger. As usual this was awesome and I can't wait for the next chapter. I wanna know what she was doing there so badly!
