Fury believed Lauren when she told him about the specials and just took her word for it, suspicious? Maybe he just trusts her, or he has secretly known about them and has been looking for a way to try and get them to work for him and Lauren provided the perfect opportunity.

Also, you might want to address the issue of how specials get super powerful when they are gathered together especially kids born under those circumstances. Unless they have like some rule that pregnant women have to leave the safe house till the baby is born or something.

And I am really really sorry if I rambled on or if this stuff happens to be spoilers.

Great story! I never would have thought of combining the avengers with heroes and it's brilliant. I can't wait to find out how it works out with them working with SHIELD.

Although, I do have some questions. Was Noah trying to sabotage Lauren by deleting the stuff she wrote? And, in your version did Coulson die during the movie? 'cause I've read other people's ff about the avengers and I really loved the ones where they found a way for him to survive.
