Another amazing story! :)

Well, this was a good story. I enjoyed reading it.
Swarovski 10/1/12 . chapter 12
Aww, they've come back from their little holiday already and now Jo is blackmailing Mac, haha! (This wouldn't happen to be the injury you alluded to back in 'Snow Slide'? - you still owe us an explanation) Great team banter again, Mahala, to finish up another gem of a story. I love the stuff you cook up on your back burner - please, can we have some more! ;D
Swarovski 10/1/12 . chapter 11
More great OC's in this chapter - they're all very vivid and really enhance the story. I love the fact that you always have lots of humor in your stories interlaced with the action - my personal favorite kind of read! Glad everyone is all right, and that Mac and Jo now have the best excuse in the world to spend some more time together. Is the rating going to change now, I wonder? LOL ;D
Swarovski 10/1/12 . chapter 10
You know, when I read your first chapter, I had no idea you'd be leading to a showdown in the form of jungle warfare! Another very exciting scene - again with a great juxtaposition between Mac's and Russ's respective points of view. Great details, too - the milk carton in the 'outdoor refrigerator', LOL It sounds like Mac is going to be in much more serious trouble now, though ...
Swarovski 10/1/12 . chapter 9
Phew, so Mac knew what he was doing - you really had me wondering! I'm glad you've added some nuances to Russ's personality, showing that he has feelings for Jo and is jealous of Mac, yet still self-aware enough to know that they are meant for each other. How brilliant that he volunteers to join Mac for the end game, when I had him pegged as the bad guy at first (*blushes*). I haven't mentioned it before, but I love all the wonderful OC's that populate your stories and bring them to life - and I've noticed quite a few of them are elderly (coincidence? I wonder)
Swarovski 10/1/12 . chapter 8
*Aargh! The site ate my review last night - am posting again* What a beautiful description of Mac and Jo crossing the lake, but at the same time I want to shout to them that they should turn back, more aargh! You certainly do know how to create almost unbearable tension, Mahala! I think it's great idea that this is about both Jo and Mac (and Russ) - I like that you chose to go in that direction. ;D
Swarovski 9/30/12 . chapter 7
*Gasp*, no I certainly hadn't worked out that they were the same person (and here I thought I was being devious!) I love Don, Russ and Brennan working on this together - what a brilliant team! And what on earth is Mac up to - how is Jo going to get across the lake? Rushing on to read more now ... ;D

BnBfanatic 9/23/12 . chapter 12
I was surpised you didn;t let us see some of Mac and Jo's time at the cabin. That could have been one full chapter at least and wld have been very romantic. It just seemed like you were in a rush to end the story but jumping over that. :-(

Fantastic story and so well written. I hope one day i'll write as well as you. :)

And i do hope you decide to write more stories. I love them.

Thank you very much-it will be well worth an enjoyable re-read in its entirety this weekend.
UrbanMuse 9/22/12 . chapter 12
Great way to end - loved the humor and enjoyed Adam's prominent role in it.
Overall, a truly splendid piece of work:)
Thank you.
UrbanMuse 9/22/12 . chapter 11
The clinic scene was so entertaining - loved Mac, Russ and Don cowering in the face of Jo's scrutiny. Then Steve blustering in and blowing their attempt to cover up the details of what really happened. And the inevitable confession keeps getting pushed aside: Russ ducks out just in time, the wonderfully perceptive Dr Rosenberg interrupts, Don's saved by BB and her offering of food. And when finally, it comes down to Mac and Jo, he's so nonchalant about his injuries that they become almost a nonissue.
And gosh. I so love that lake - it evokes so many memories - Mac sliding out to reveal more than he ever anticipated to Jo, the treacherous journey across to 'safety' on the surf board, now Jo dreaming of swimming in it, and finally, well, I can only imagine what might have taken place there between chapters 11 and 12. *Sigh*
And you managed yet again to invoke the title. Bravo!

OMG...I absolutely love the part with Adam and Mac standing behind him...to funny! Another perfect ending. Can't wait to see what you have coming next!
