Why have I not read this until now? This is Sooo good! The tension, the suspense, the discontenuity of the characters reality vs. The canon reality.

Is the reason Hikaru got so many requests as SAI is because Sai himself plays net go? In that case, I hope Hikaru has the courage to try again, but in his own name.

I can't wait for the new epiosode! I mean, I LITERALLY can't wait! Most of the stories here are similar. There's Hikaru who wants to become pro/is pro/is a monster on the goban and Akira who chases him/is chases by him. And that's all. There are no shifts and unpredictable events in those stories. The details differ but the general storyline is the same. But somehow it's great. I loved the manga and the anime and reading the ff which is more or less based on the orignal story, gives me the same vibes which I felt when I was watching the anime for the first time. But on the same time those ff are easy to predict. I'm able to guess what will happen next without any problems. But then you're such a great fan of HnG as I am, it's ok. But still...

Reading a story which is different from the others is so much FUN! I can't guess where the story is going. And there is so much Akina in in (I love Akira) and you found a way to make Sai live without reviving him (I love Sai) and Hikaru is on the begining of his journey (I love reading about Hikaru who's slowly walking the way of pros) and... Well, the style of writing is good, the plot is great.

I only hope that you didn't abandon this story. I'd be such a waste...

I can't help but wonder how will Sai and Hikaru meet? Maybe Hikaru will login again in NetGo and Sai will wonder why someone would use his name?

I love this. I just love this. The whole idea is.. brilliant. I just can't wait to see what happens when Hikaru and Sai meets, and how things are on Sai's side. I've read many, many HnG fanfics, but I've never seen before this kind of plot, so I'm really intrigued.

This is pretty good! There are a few grammatical errors but they are slight and easy to ignore. However, if you don't improve there may come a point when readers, like me, won't be able to ignore them any longer. I would suggest a beta reader or anyone willing to proofread.

I am mostly curious about Sai's response to those who ask why he doesn't have a student; he seems too sad. Does he also share memories with the ghost Sai from canon? That would be very interesting. I can't wait until he shows up!

There is also one thing I really like about this story; Akari has a purpose! It's bad enough the show lacks female characters, but then they go ahead and shove the few there so far into the sidelines that they are almost forgotten. I really like your version of her; she is kind, understanding, and willing to put Hikaru in his place and make him learn from his mistakes. Although I do get the feeling the latter doesn't happen very often.

But I do hope Hikaru matures soon. His current attitude is rather annoying; I do understand he supposedly has ADHD but he still annoys me when he oversteps his bounds. The perfect example being his latest game with Akira.

Lovely! It's great that you've got Akari there. I like her, and the way she's trying to talk reason to Hikaru. And the scene with NetGo, Sai's username and all! Hikaru must be so confused. I wonder if Sai has any "memories" of him, or if he's living his life happily oblivious to it all... I (like many others, I'm sure) can't wait till they meet!

Titles are my bane. I don't usually bother with chapter titles, I've enough to do with the story titles... (There's one fic I wrote in 2011, and it's STILL called the Untitled Heian Fic. *headdesk*) So I totally don't mind if you have one chapter called "Untitled". xD;

Does Sai have visions of the life he spent with Hikaru like Hikaru has of him?
You should do a chapter that centers on a day with Sai, to show how he is now, not as a thousand year old ghost. Just a suggestion, don't hate me for interfering! (cowers in corner).
