This is great! So sad, but so real too. What Gerry says, and what you said at the end, reminds me of something Kate Mulgrew said once - "If someone you know feels suicidal, just love them. And if they blow their brains out, continue to love them. This is the game, right?" - when asked about a suicide storyline she did in Star Trek (she's Catholic).

This was great, Beth, and it's very realistic, having been there, and still being there, myself.

You have a real talent when it comes to writting especially the way you write sandra's emotions.

In a way this story seems personal to me (I would say I can relate to Gerry) it's hard to read that someone you love could have experienced emotions and the feeling of hopelessness that Sandra does but this is still a great start and I just hope you continue :) Sarah xx
