The thing I have never understood is WHY Carol never chased after Rick and Sophia? No one and I mean no one would have stopped me from going after my child. Thats one of the main reasons I read OC fics instead of Caryl fics.

You werent lying about taking it slow which is not a bad thing considering their first meeting. I am hoping you veer away from the show more, bringing more life to the actual love story. I "always figure changes quite a bit because it adds a whole new set of decisions which would probably change things

Just read the next chappie and JJ is kinda forgiven but I am still not sure yet, but I am open. What was up with the smiling thing?

I'll be honest after chapter 4 I didn't really like JJ cause really Daryl was justified with his angry at the person, who left his brother to die. Rick could have easily cuffed Merle's hands together instead of to a pipe not to mention giving the key to a man Merle had just assaulted was "smart".

After reading chappie 5 I guess I kinda understood her reasoning. But how her relationship with Rick (even if it does remind her of her father) trumps brothers in her mind I don't understand.

To top it all, he saves her butt. Daryl deserves an apology and not one of Mary Sue sorry I'm hit you but you deserved apologies. He deserves "I was out of line cause if it had been my brother I would have kicked some butt too" apology.

I am hoping that's what he gets in chappie 6.
