Fantastic! The more I thought about this story through days after I had read it, the more I liked it. Especially the opening part, with Yeirumis. The title is so well chosen, or, well borrowed. It's intriguing, and I think I know what you're referring to... but it could be a few things.

I also like Hermes putting Kino in her place - somewhat - toward the beginning. So wise, that Hermes.
