Dunno what the future holds but it's nice to have this little relaxing interlude at the park. They sure DO deserve to be able to have fun again after ALL Violet's been through. Keep going!

So Violet testified but surprisingly Phillip himself spelled out not only that he'd abused her but WHY! Luckily, it was in the police station [and I guess he'd already been read his 'rights' so anything he said can be used against him as long as he doesn't remember to plead the 5th Amendment]. Anyway, good for Micky to stand up to Phillip and to be there for Violet-and now Violet has decided to get back with Micky and give David the brush off. Well, David doesn't appear to be too lacking for feminine companionship so hopefully he'll be okay. Will their park date go okay as she hopes? Look as though this may be wrapping up soon but keep going!

Not to worry. Please take care of yourself before you do anything else. Still, it's been a good story and I'm interested in seeing the direction it ultimately goes in.

This was short but still really good and romantic. I lie the fact that they fell asleep in the park!

Great Chapter! Well worth the wait! I loved the fact that Micky wasn't scared to barge into the police room when he knew she needed him. I love that they go to the park so late at night! :)

Hooray! Another chapter! Interesting that this is entirely from Micky's POV with none from Violet, this chapter. OK, Micky seems to seeing that Violet's not as gung-ho re dating David [whom, it must be said, in Real Life, would eventually have an unpleasant legal dispute with Davy]. So they've caught Phillip and Tony AND they fessed to sending the 3 thugs after Violet. GOOD but will this lead to the cops finding the thugs themselves. Nice of Micky to assure Violet of things being okay with the impending viewing/ID of Phillip and Tony but she seems to be less optimistic. Yeah, until they get CONVICTED, they still could cause problems from Violet and Micky even with them fessing their role to the cops. Keep going!

I'm so glad they caught Tony and Phillip. I liked the random hug. I really hope she doesn't go out with David! :) Can't wait for the next one.

Micky dealt with Violet's flirtation a LOT better than many folks would an ex flirting with a friend -even subtracting the fact that he's putting up said friend in his own home. Yeah, I know they're technically no longer 'dating' but I can't see how this can go well for Violet to get into anything with anyone new so soon after what she's gone through. Oh, and does she truly imagine DAVID doing even a small portion of what Micky's done for her -without expecting anything more than saying 'thanks' in return? At least Violet recognizes her error at the end but can she call off the date and start again with Micky? Keep going!

Yeah, I guess Violet is somewhat flattered this random guy David is interested in her -despite her injured state but is this worth risking wrecking the still tentative renewed friendship she has with Micky [the one who's taken her into his home while she has nowhere else to go and is unemployed]? I think Violet needs to get her head straight FAST!

Oh no! I felt bad for him when David asked her out in front of Micky! The fact that she feels bad for going out with David shows she still cares for Micky. I thought the lunch scene was well written with good tension.

I almost cried :(, I need more!

Oh no! I like the sudden plot twist. I liked the fact that she agreed to give Micky another chance and then met David. I loved her interaction with Davy. Can't wait to see who it unfolds with David and Violet. Merry Christmas! :)

OK, what's next? I really look forward to the next chapter. Pardon my impatience but I want to see where this goes!
