Wonderful! I love how this story is sweet and tragic at the same time, and it really shows the bond between Esther and Allan. I also liked how you described Allan's view concerning the shipwreck.
'He has never felt less like a hero than in the moment Miss Esther Summerson takes off her veil.' It's lovely, and so is the part where he thinks about Esther moving like a survivor.
