I love the "stream of consciousness" style of this story - very effective at portraying everyone's frayed emotions and Linda's dash to save Stefan. It's all very in character too. In my head, the outcome of the episode is quite similar to yours: Stefan and Linda get the happy ending they deserve and ride off into the sunset together. It's the least they deserve!

Devian "hug" icon would be the best one to fix into this situation...
