| Guest 1/4/13 . chapter 14 I just started reading fan fiction over the past couple of weeks; coming across this story through another's (great writer) favorites. I can easily say the "WOW" factor for this story was over the top. You have tremendously succeeded where many fail at keeping the players/characters true to themselves as depicted in the movie (don't read the comics so I can't say with that). You have given a wonderful rollercoaster ride in this story of thrills and heartbreaks. I have to admit that I had tears breaking in parts with your heartfelt details that really showed a wonderful ability to bring the reader into the storyline to really care about the participants. The details that you used were also not in over abundance so as to drag the story nor lose the reader. I can easily see this storyline following the movie and it was a personal treat to enjoy. Thank you for sharing and PLEASE keep writing. |

The ending likewise was satisfying, partly because it did not try to wrap things up neatly. Odin's gesture with the Casket was surprising, but I suppose trust is the first step.
