How ironically appropriate that one of the least boring stories I've read has "boring's good" as the title of the last chapter! Just when you think you know what is happening... zing! In come a few lines that either make me laugh in two directions at once or raise my eyebrows half an inch wondering where THAT came from. Is it too weird to tell you that your Graydon Taylor reminds me somewhat of my own father? Great job on showing how characters change over time.

LOVE love love how you tied this up! First of all, thank god nothing came of Tami's mom and Eric's dad. It made sense because they were both lonely but if they ended up getting married that would have just been too weird. Second, I love that Tami ended up having a baby in her forties jut like her mom did, especially after saying, "God knows I'd never have a child that late in life." Haha. Putting a statement like that out into the universe is almost a guarantee its going to happen :) The epilogue did a great job of bringing everything full circle to Tami and Coach v 2.0 (aka Matt and Jules). I really enjoyed this story and hope to read more from you soon!

EWWWW! I sincerely hope that never happens again. Haha. Okay...now that I got that out of my system, I'll say that I think I can definitely appreciate the way Mr. Taylor always seems to push Eric and want more for him. Nice detail about him shadowing and learning to become a coach.

I also like the tie in with the names for Julie and Gracie...very clever! Loving the banter between Eric and Tami's parents and how Mr. Taylor has really opened up to Tami. I like how he's still gruff on the exterior but softens up when he talks about his wife.

Nice tie-in to the present with the names Julia and Grace. I love how Tami can reach Eric's dad. A budding counselor.

The trying to decipher what that gift was made me laugh because I had that same experience with a few non registry gifts..haha. As far as the pregnancy, I had a feeling there was going to be a miscarriage when you said the due date was November since Julie's birthday is in February. I think your portrayal of their reactions to it was definitely on point. Eric is definitely the type that shuts down (at least at first) in the wake of emotional turmoil. I can see Tami having to draw it out of him. I really love how you've established a whole new world with this backstory while still staying true to the characters. I do wonder how much of their parenting with Julie/Gracie was affected by their own family situations and how the lack of involvement of their own parents in their children's lives would affect how they'd be as grandparents. Futurestory if you will. Haha :)

Tami's mom reacted better than I thought she would to the pregnancy. I think its realistic that she wasn't warm and fuzzy about the pregnancy or marriage but there were still some glimmers of positivity there. Mr. Taylor is a whole other animal...haha (BTW..i love how you've created these characters that I now care about even though they were never on the show) I'm glad he was able to verbalize his love for his son finally, even though it was inspired by alcohol. Shelley's toast made me laugh, which is pretty much the function of Shelley's character most of the time. Good job with the wedding scene!

Awww...very touching how both parents have come around and can see how much Eric & Tami love each other. Glad that they were there to support their kids :)

Nice wedding! And nice contrast between the two families, the inlaws. Can't wait for the honeymoon. :)

I like the twist of Mr. Taylor giving Eric the ring to give to Tami. I think I said this in an earlier review, but I definitely think he likes her but doesn't want to admit it outright. Not his style. I was nervous about how Mrs. Hayes would react and it wasn't too bad, although I suppose she doesn't know about the baby yet.

Wow, that was a bitter pill to swallow. For both of them. But I could totally see it happening.
