Lol! love it! You should do stories on ziva as a child. I think you really have her character down well
Sara 11/8/12 . chapter 1
This was so excellently done. I love reading good Tiva action and this truly goes to the heart of what I have also always thought were Ziva's issues and traumatic experiences. Very well written and I found myself giggling at their interactions and the end. :)

Wow. I LOVE this story. I love that it digs so deep into Ziva's character, her relationship with Tony, how her past still effects her and how she deals with it in her own way. I love how you make it by turns beautiful and sad and sexy (in a way that so few writers can) and all the funny bits are just perfect - especially Abby's "You got any cute friends you don't like?" and Gibbs's priceless last line. You are very talented... and I'm a tad bit jealous!
brightblue 10/31/12 . chapter 1
Oh man, I missed this somehow the first time around. This was eerily like all the head-canon I've developed for Ziva about this issue so while I will easily say this was completely in character, know it's totally biased to how I view Ziva and her past! I loved the depiction of Tony and Ziva's very grown up relationship. You nailed that. The bits at the beginning about the wedding shower? So perfect and fitting. (I love a good wedding fic, but it's so rare that it's acknowledged Tony and Ziva are grown people and not fresh out of college, planing a Disney dream wedding!) The little arguments that popped up as Ziva wrestled with the issue were spot on, as was how she ultimately dealt with it- perfectly hot and sexy, addressing the issue but definitely how I would imagine it resolving in the end. I also love the pieces of Ziva's past you have entwined here- again, you hit on some major head-canon for me; I have a half-written long fic about one of Ziva's early relationships and that definitely pulls in her Daddy issues and that strange love/hate (or rather, total effed up-ness) she would have in terms of the balance of power with the men in her life. They rarely touch on it in the show (which I'm sadly not surprised by since it's written by mostly men), but that's always been a reason I've loved Ziva as a character- this is a woman who has struggled greatly to define herself in relation to the men in her life and all the power they hold over her for different reasons. Alas, it's been often greatly reduced to just "isn't Ziva a badass?" as the answer to all those issues, but the Women's Studies minor in me just goes wild with all the implications for her history. And this has officially become a totally rambling review! But, once again, thank you for writing this so well! Amazing story!

Aah, I really loved this! And I read it wuite a while ago, I just never took the time to review it. But I just really wantd to let you know how proud you should be of this fic. The characters were wonderfully written as they always are in your fics. And I just really enjoyed this exploration of one of Ziva's issues from a VERY different approach than usual ;) Loved it! Never stop writing!
quisinart4 10/28/12 . chapter 1
Wow I don't know what to say because this is easily one of the best TZ pieces I've read. You really hit all the issues from Ziva's past to their trust issues to Ziva's daddy issues and handled it with such a delicate and fragile way, but still so very real to these characters and their past. The way you described Ziva's past, the experiments her father had her participate in, the way she fired the therapist when she said "abuse" is so very real and still so loyal, so very Ziva. I love the little details like Doris showing up at the shower, Tony driving home and Ziva talking, them kissing on the couch and their pre-bed time routine. Tony's line in the car about women just broke my heart because it was like he had no idea what to say and the conversation was breaking his heart, oh Tony. Wonderful expose here and so well written while staying true to the characters. Bravo.

That was a really good story, I love how you handle Ziva's fear and I have to say, the way you write her was right on point. Well done! And of course the sexiness of Tony and Ziva making love mixed with the overall sweetness of them as a couple was perfect.
ncisloverinnc 9/26/12 . chapter 1
This was not at all what i expected when I read the summary, but so much better. You handled all the complex emotions of those two with delicacy, and I really liked the way thngs concluded. It was a very well written piece!
dvd123 9/25/12 . chapter 1
I love the way you pecked into Ziva's mind, how she was on edge over the box and found a deeper reason behind it, that it was more than just the feeling of captivity in Somalia that the items bring on. Your depiction of Ziva's childhood and adolescence is not only painful, but feels real. And I love that Tony ended up not liking the restraints. It really loses a bit of the personal and intimate feel between them, especially when they both kinda have no regard towards personal space with each other. :P

And my, what a season premiere, right?!
JperW 9/25/12 . chapter 1
Nice story. Thanks for putting it out there for us to read.
Mechabeira 9/25/12 . chapter 1
This is remarkable. Your sense of craft is apparent in how you swing the reader's (e.g. MY) emotions from one section to the next.

Want to be devastated? Yeah, read the part about her childhood. Want to feel lighthearted and a little mischievous? Read the last one.

Amazing, amazing sense of style and flow. Amazing sense of voice. Brava. Write more. Write always.
nk 9/25/12 . chapter 1
Really, really excellent. I like how they both avoid the psychotalk, but especially Ziva, since it's totally not her thing. Thank you so much; it's made my morning.
Courtzylovesit 9/25/12 . chapter 1
Yes that was long yet very good! I am so glad Ziva trusted tony enough to give bondage a go, I just love how Tony didn't like it! I was waiting for Ziva to panic but I loved that she didn't she completely trusted her Tony :)
Well done :)
