I *knew* the end of the story would be the punchline to a joke, but I still couldn't help laughing. Great putting Zell and Squall in there, and couldn't stop laughing at the "Let's roll" rent-a-cop aspect of Zell and Squall's jobs.

Okay. Since the Olympics just passed, let me review the points:

1) A low 6.5 for the story, as it was a lame joke,

2) Adding 2 points for the freshman-graphic sex scenes,

3) Adding 5 points for having the gumption to make one of the throwaway characters in FFVIII a main character in the story,

Final tally: 13.5 out of 10. Alan Smithee is officially a Golden God.
