Have to admit I was very grossedf out by Sam the walking corpse. Glad that got fixed. With five years can they save Bobby?

This story gives them a lot more hope than they had. Five years is a long time and Sam will not fall to Ruby if Dean doesn't go to help. I bet the boys and Bobby Singer could manage to get Bobby out in five years.

Sam sighed and bowed his head, "Why'd he do it?"

"Come again?" She asked.

"Why would he give up his soul for me?" He asked with a hint of bitterness in his voice.

"Because he loves you, Sam," she stated simply.

I do like this AU. It's a very clever idea so well done to you. My heart was breaking for Sam, with his withering body and eyesight, and also for Dean, having to watch it happen, knowing it was his doing.
As for Bobby thinking his soul was bound for hell anyway, well, that's pretty heart breaking too. I'm guessing he's deal comes due in season 7, from what everyone has told me, and I've yet to watch it. Not sure I want to.
It's amazing how attached you can become to people who don't even exist eh?
