i really enjoyed this story.. i found it out of character that hg would break down and cry in myka's lap, but otherwise i found it very in character.. good writing..

Love it. Absolutely love it. Characterization of Helena was great.

Great ending.. it was quite funny and a lovely set-up for a sequel.. i'm also happy that Charles had his comeuppance.. lol

My goodness. Helena G Wells in court being scolded and cannot eep a single word. If only Charles can see this!

Great ending! Loved the prank on HG at the end. That's kind of how I pictured her and Pete living under the same roof would go. He'd pull some juvenile stunt on her and she'd electrify the toilet seat in retaliation or something. Too bad the writers don't share my (our) perfect world vision.
Looking forward to more of these from you. There simply aren't enough out there. Thanks for the fun (loved all your title chapters too, very clever). Until the next story...

I love the quotes you start with at the beginning of each chapter.

"Darling, it's simply not a competition when your opponent stands no chance against you," HG explained as only she could. - Heheheheee, there's Helena's ego again! :)

"I made the pancakes!" HG announced." - I'm still keeping a straight face, (With great concentration I might add! :P ) though I think the excitement might still be given away in my eyes.

"No more siblings!" Artie shouted as he stuffed pancakes in his mouth. "Too much trouble." - Hahahahahhaaaa! ARTIE! XD

'Helena actually liked the idea of Myka's sister coming for a visit. There were a couple of things she wanted to set the woman straight on.' -I think you have your next story lined up right there! I don't think I can imagine the havoc the HG will manage.

" Maybe you could arrange for a public flogging?"" - *looks away from screen* (to self) straight face... teacher is talking to the class... focus on her- no don't smile!No laughing!) ;)

RE the bucket tipping on Helena; Charles/PETE! LOL! What a sneeky bugger!

OMG! Nice twist of the prank! If only Pete'd known. LOL at young-Helena freaking out about being flogged for her affair with charles' ex-fiance. Really enjoyed the cute / flirty TLC scene at the start of the chapter - no hard feelings b/c Myka and HG indeed. and of course the whole gang is so considerate to do something nice for Leena!

thanks for this wonderful cute fluff - I really do enjoy the Charles/HG relationship complete with all the spats and rivalry, and the affection. HG will always be Charles's super smart and rambunctious little sister!

Poor Leena. Though it was nice to see her as a woman with feelings, rather than as just an innkeeper. I also liked that hg showed some emotions other than jealousy and frustration. I would say that Pete deserves some punishment for bringing this whole thing about. Nevertheless, i am really enjoying this fic. Now, just something i noticed before and wanted to comment on: a head 'shake' is a negative (side-to-side) response, whereas a head 'nod' is an affirmative/ positive (up-down) response.

I'm sad for Leena but I can't say I'm really sorry to see Charles go. Two Wells in the same house was one Wells too many. LOL
