oh wow. finally finished it. That was intense! Very rollercoastery. I was kind of bored by the Dimitriou parts but the zombies definitely made up for that! It was a little darker than my tastes, but I'm hoping to look at your other stories and if any of them are short(er) and not too dark I look forward to reading them!
-The characters. I actually liked and cared about the original characters, which is incredibly rare. Hsu Yi was interesting to read about, the one-legged man was psychopathically frightening, and I actually didn't mind Lara being with Emil! Which is odd, because normally reading in detail about Lara's relationship with a male makes me gag and hit the back button. But apparently women, goddesses, dopplegangers, and black males that aren't Zip are okay? Or maybe you're just an exceptional writer, lol.
-Lara. I kept debating whether I was okay with her being the damsel in distress or not, but by the end I decided it was handled pretty well. Self-saving princesses are the best kind!
-I have to admit that I skimmed over the last bit of this chapter, with the backstory. It was interesting, it was well-written... I was just too drained from the rest of the story to start a "new" plot by that point.
-The action was superb. You have a talent at showing instead of telling. I can't believe I found a story of this magnitude of epicness on , honestly. I was terrified for Hsu Yi when she was being chased by the elemental, I was panicky for Lara when it seemed like she was about to be killed, and I was flooded by relief when Lara got away from the house in Kent.
I'm guessing you're a professional author? This was definitely publisher-worthy material, if not! I'm very impressed.
Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the story plays out, but alas I have a paper to write (on Tomb Raider, at least) and half a textbook to pore over for the next two days. Thanks for posting this story and I can't wait to see what happens!
Lord Schmodder 11/20/03 . chapter 3
Hi! I really liked this fic. It stands out of the masses of fanfic I read recently - good work! There's no possibility of you doing a Tomb Raider/Buffy crossover? ;-) Would be very appreciated.
Nine months and god-knows how many hours later, I finally got around to finishing this. Strange, I didn't think I'd ever have the incentive to read the rest. I started way back, last September, reading with a frenzy, not able to get through it quick enough. Left off around Lara and Claudia's fight. Then, something made me want to look at it again.
I enjoyed this, not only because of it's novel length, but becase it had something different. Not the usual fanfic you'd find here. Granted, it was quite a bit more for 'mature' than most others, but other than that it had alot unique. The characters were well developed (not just Lara, but Emil, Charron, ect), the plot would have to a have been thouroughly planned, and the description...well, most writing here at lacks the amount of description I would like it to have.
So, Kudos to you. There's another story for my favorites list.

What can I say... I followed your entire series with great amazement, your writting style is excelentm I can see you really research in order to writte, that is admirable, the description of the characters and enviroment is incredible and you have mastered the hability to take the reader with you at every step of the adventures that come out of your mind, I can see as well a great effort and amount of time you dedicated to each of your stories, and it is remarcable for some one who writtes fanfics, wich, most of them, are garbage, but not yours Tim, I really admire you as writter, don't worry about the few reviews... I have seen terrible writtings here that have up 200 reviews.. that does not say too much good about the kind of readers who lurk arround this site, believe me, here, people look for easy reading, well, congratulations, you are really and excellent writter, have you thought about a way of actually publishing this stories? maybe modifying the heroine under another name and... well, ok congratulations, I hope this series have a continuity

I liked this, very suspenseful and strangely appealing. It was a bit odd at first because I read the other two chapters so long ago, but then it all came back to me. Nevertheless, at the end I felt a bit unsatisfied, I don't really know why, perhaps because we didn't get to know the Queen. But I was very intrigued by the very last paragraphs. Is this hinting at a continuation? I do hope so.
I have just finished reading the entire story - Oh My God. This is amazing. It's so cool...it took me a while, but it was worth it. If you want to, check out my story - Secrets of the Sapphire Empire, and RR. Please... :-) NICE WORK

Glad you finally finished Tim, a great story ( but then they all are) Really enjoyed reading it.
Er. That was a bit confusing, partially because I was reading every paragraph like a word to finish it up within a total time span of maybe less than three hours, but - of course - it was (insert very big adjective here). Do keep writing.
See? I'm working on not going nuts every time...
Paul 6/18/02 . chapter 2
Not a review Tim as I have already told you how brilliant this and your other stories are. Just wondering if u could let us all know what stage ur at with "Tisiphone"? It would save me checking EVERY day in the hope of finding a conclusion. :) cheers
Yeah, it's me again. Just reached the end of Chapter 2, and still loving it. Are you doing this for a living yet? You really should.
My only minor criticism would be the flashback at the end of Chapter 1 - yes, it provided useful background information, and it illustrated the relationship between Lara & Dasky, but it seemed like a bit of a departure from the plot, and sort of tripped the story up ("Meanwhile, six years ago..."). Apart from that, this story rocks and if you don't put Chapter 3 up soon... well, I'll have to wait a little longer, I guess. Um... yeah.
Razors 3/29/02 . chapter 1
Whooooooooo! I'm only about a third of the way through Part 1 and this story's got me by the balls, if you'll pardon the expression. Dammit, now I have to read the whole thing - this could take a while...
