how the hell is THIS unoriginal. this is one the best stories I've read! you managed to stuff so much emotion and tension in this small amount of writing I'm still left reeling. Not to mention you've outlined perfectly the contrast between the coldness of kaldur's "comrades" compared to the kind acceptance his father/enemy had showed him. Poor boy, I bet that put him for a loop.

Ahhhh this is not at all unoriginal. I love the sense of conflict here - that his team is actually harder on him than his father, a supposed villain and monster. I can totally see this happening, and your prose cuts right to the chase of things. I hope you do more for Kaldur week. :)
