Wow, it's been SO long since I've found another Rin/Archer gem. Was certainly not expecting it, which is why I'm so glad I gave your fic a shot. Absolutely beautiful- loved both the actual dialogue/confrontation between Archer and Rin, as well as the unsaid conversation that was simultaneously going on. In so few words, you've brought to light Archer's bitterness about his past choices/self-hatred, Rin's faith in him, as well as her own struggles and unyielding devotion to the Tohsaka ideals her father had passed on to her, AND an underlying sense of the connection between these 2. to top it off, the unusually creative and refreshing note of all of this following such a domestic request for breakfast.
