Aww, what a lovely story! I really like the idea you had there - of that meaningful vintage costum and how it shows that Thranduil is indeed someone who understands how invaluable true love can be. I really adore how this is the very vial he and his wife drank from at their own wedding, and that he now gives it to Aragorn and Arwen. That's such an amazing move to make!

And concerning the writing itself I think you did great with capturing the Elf's personality. He and Gimli seemed very in character to me and I enjoyed their interaction very much! It was great to read how, despite all the things that make them be different from each other, there is an understanding between those two that does not know Elf or Dwarf but only Friend.
