Wonderful chapter!

When the last chapter ended, it didn't seem like she was going to go through with her trip, so I was a little worried once it was clear she had. Especially when it seemed like she was alone in her own apartment at the beginning. I was really relieved when they parted on good terms at the airport, and I love when she called him.

I like how you finally revealed that she was at HIS place. To me, the fact that she feels comfortable enough now to just let herself in says so much about where they are in their relationship. Love that Will decorated the nursery!

I can't wait for more!

I'm addicted.

This one really left me speechless. So beautiful all of it and the last line is killing me.

I read it in my English class and i totally ignored my teacher and all my classmates at that time, and maybe when the next chapter comes out I would throw away all my test books, ignore my final exam and focus on your story, that must be fun...

Ohhh, I was itching to review this chapter but I hate to type on my IPad so I had to wait until I was back home from a short visit to my family.
Here I am!
So happy to see a new phase of the story beginning! It was about time they made up their minds once and for all, Sam will soon make his appereance in the world and needs to find Mom and Dad happy and together. :)

The first section is simply beautiful. The description of Mackenzie's feelings while she's at home, her thoughts and actions are a perfect reflection of what must have been going on inside her heart at that very moment, how lost she felt. All the confusion and uneasiness that would only eventually subside once she's in Will's bed and surrounded by his scent. Perfect.
And then the dream... I loved how you managed to recreate the atmosphere of a dream sequence by having the location change many times and without an apparent pattern. Also, it is interesting to take a little trip into Mackenzie's subconscious by following her around her nephews and niece, with her parents and finally with her blond haired, blue eyed child. Lovely and very telling. Of course she would picture him as a tiny McAvoy look-a-like. :D

Love the scene at the airport! It's so cute when she doesn't want to leave him and he keeps kissing her to change her mind. :)
I have to confess I was kinda expecting Mackenzie not to leave for London. Or, assuming she left, a part of me was strongly hoping for Will to join her even if I knew it was way too far-fetched considering how realistic this story is and how dramatic and insecure these two characters can be. They just don't do spontaneous things like that, not unless they're high on something at least. That's also why the whole "running to the airport to profess my feelings" was so surprisingly un-Will like, such a beautiful unexpected gift. But of course, Mackenzie leaving all the same and spending two weeks away from Will seems appropriate. I'm glad she used that time to think about them and came back determined to go after her heart. Same goes for Will of course, I'm relieved he didn't change his mind although I didn't think he would have at this point.

Also, the phone conversation about what happened in the past and Mackenzie's fears was much needed. I'm glad they realized they can't live in fear of screwing things up again because it's not doing any of them any good. Time to persue what they really want and start seriously working on this little family of theirs.

["I don't want something difficult, I don't want to question it. I just want you - and Samuel - to come home to at the end of the day."
[...]
She wants Will in her life despite him but at the same time he – Samuel – gives them both so much more. A connection – a family.

"I want that too," Will responds, and she feels herself calm.]

Exactly! It's so easy when you put it like that, isn't it? They have to try, they owe it to themselves and to Sam.

[They reach the door to his spare bedroom and before he opens it, Will bends his head and lifts her hand – licks her sticky index finger from her knuckle to the tip and his tongue is wet and rough and hot. She feels him all the way to her toes and he smiles quirkily at her, her whole body tingling.]

Oh Billy, you naughty boy! All right, a little payback was in order since she started it, but be really careful what you do to a woman at this stage of her pregnancy. LOL

["We don't have to be here," Will's telling her, "We can live somewhere else – or you can live somewhere else," and he pauses, hesitant. "But you mentioned wanting to come home to Sam and myself – and I think this is a good place to start."]

Awww... I can totally picture Will rearranging his spare room and turning it into Sam's nursery once he heard her saying those words. Still, I kinda wanted hit him when he said "or you can live somewhere else" because it's time to stop being so freaking insecure. She doesn't want to go anywhere and made it clear, please stop offering her a way out of this.

[He leans his head against her shoulder from behind, closing his eyes, and thinks, Welcome to your home, Sam.]

Such a perfect ending. All this talk about Sam made me even more excited to meet the boy! I really can't picture him in my mind, all I know is that, just like Mackenzie, when I think about him I see a blond haired, blue eyed kid. Love him already! :)

Thanks so much for another great chapter, it was a pivotal one and, based on last chapter's reviews, everybody's expectation was so high I can totally understand why you felt it could be improved and rewritten many times before posting it.
Of course I'd like to read more soon since everytime you update I wish I could read another chapter right way and then another and another because that's just how addicted to this story I am; nonetheless I know it's not possible since you don't have the whole story written already and real life can be hectic so, as sad as it is, I guess I'll read you in a month or so. Take care. :)

Wow! Amazing chapter... Your rewriting and rewriting WORKED because this came out great. I was so happy to see this posted on tumblr... I agree, they've danced around each other for a while, love that this is moving in a new direction! Great chapter, lookin forward to more!

I love the scene at the airport with multiple kisses...(oh God after so many chapters of dancing around...FINALLY)

I love their conversation over the phone...you can just tell how much they miss each other even miles apart...so fab!

["Can I stay here?" she asks, barely above a whisper.

Will pauses a moment, and she stiffens. Does he understand?

Oh my goodness! This chapter was SO cute! I'm so happy that they're beginning to work things out. Mac talking about her nephews and niece, Will decorating the nursery and all this talk of Sam MELTING! I love this fic even more, I was so excited about getting an update and it was so worth it!
