I like the stuff with Daphne and with Bay, but I think your being unfair with Kathryn. Kathryn is never mean or really unfair with her kids. She has in less than one weeks time found out that her daughter regularly commets vandilisom and commited grand theft aginst her own father. Also from what Kathryn can see Zarra is encouraging Bay to do these things. Kathryn and John are being harsh with Bay becausse they are afraide for her; she could easily do jail time for things like this. P.S. don't worry about the Daphne/Emmett scene, it could easily be taken as a brother-sister momment.
