This has been my favorite story that I've read so far. It was quite complete throughout. I liked meeting his family. Glad he proposed. I do feel like the others that this was an abrupt ending, an epilogue would have helped. Loved that his kids loved Liv so much.

Absolutely sucks that Mellie would do that. I had an inkling that that could be true because it happened right when he made that speech even though she knew it was going to happen. I'm surprised that Liv is not going to tell him but I can completely understand. Also sucks that his dad just blurted out his feelings at the dinner table.

This chapter was so good. I like how the story goes back in time; it's interesting that you sometimes go back in time (from 918 days to 978 days). Love that she is so close with the kids. Poor Fitz, he's like a walking zombie. He should definitely have some work to throw himself into rather than all the drama from divorce, death, resigning. Glad she was able to join them in California and for the funeral. Mellie has a one track mind.

Glad he made it out of surgery okay. Nice touch by him after hearing about the Reverend that he changed his will to include Olivia. Love that idea. Terrible that his kids saw their dad being shot. Sucks that his country has gone to war in this way. It seems like East Sudan is goading them into war, which means they have some sort of plan for this. They were calling the U.S. out.

I like this so far. I like that they have an agreement and have a countdown to how many days they have until they can be together for real. I wasn't expecting the assassination attempt so soon, in a few chapters, so that caught me off guard.

Great Story - wish you had ended it with Fitz taking her into their new bedroom and it being lit up with candles! Love your writing and thanks!

Thank God you did not let Liv betray Fitz. So glad you let her take the control out of Mellie's hands. She only wanted to be in between them like the viper she is.

I really enjoyed the story, but this abrupt ending does it a disservice. I feel you need at least one more chapter the wrap it up. This just feels unfinished.

I feel like this ending, is an open ending!? Will there be a sequel? LOVED THE STORY!
