So "there will be different characters and a different story."

Are you simply going to genderbend, or will there actually be entirely different characters from the Disney movie? If the case is the latter, the only character who makes the fanfic a fanfic at all will be Kala.

Will the story be so different that it's not even the story of Tarzan anymore? Will Tianna grow up and start a black market dealing in exotic animals like gorillas? Will Jane be a man? Be sure to distinguish between a mere gender-bending story or something entirely new.
