It's a nice story you've written, although there are a few flaws. While I can look past the articulate toddlers, an eight year old receiving a tricycle for Christmas and enjoying it is a bit of a misjudgment. A bicycle would be much more realistic. Overall, this has been highly readable and I have enjoyed most of the story.
