i love Takeshi. He's a little bit of everything a woman could ever want in a man. compassionate, caring... attentive, but still... a dominate man. he is just begging to be in a lemon for all the otaku fans to write/fantasize about. love. love. love.

can't wait to read more. i hope this story will have an ending and not a discontinuation. i would be devastated. the story itself is not so much into detail but thats a good thing! You don't give away important ones and you keep the readers in suspense. I cannot predict what will happen and how the OC will play into this but i can't wait for the next chapter. keep up the great work.

I always find myself enjoying your stories as you have this flair in writing real, fleshed out characters. You've gotten someone like me, who isn't that much of a Yamamoto fan, quite hooked in this story.

I've been following your 'Nature of The Beast' story for quite awhile now, so when you finished it, (nice epilogue by the way) I jumped into your profile to check for the sequel. In a sense, I did find a sequel, I guess. Haha.

I love Yamamoto and I think you characterized him very well. It's true we didn't see much TYL Yamamoto in the series so it could be difficult but I think you did a good job. I hope you update this soon!

Well, despite the guesswork - and I truly understand how you feel about that - I think it was wonderful! You down-played his innocence, which I suppose would take a huge hit throughout the years, you kept his kind nature yet you added the suspicion and you made him lovable even if still very familgia-oriented! Loved how they interact and their double meanings are gold. They are so sweet to watch! I like Camilla so much, as well and that's good!

Hope things word out for the best in the Russian mob part!

Hahahah Brilliant chapter, as always! I wish I could write like you. I just love how you toy with Takeshi's personality and Camilla's character. It's really cool to watch them interact in a way, because Camilla is so realistic that it's as if I can hear her voice in my head!

AND ERMIGOSH YAMAMOTO (Gah :3 He's the best! Well, I think so anyway). I love how you describe his character and his facial expression when he gets serious sometimes, like when she mentioned the ring. And oh gosh, the 'gaudy' ring. Can you imagine Giotto's face as he watches her critique his ring?

"...G, I swear, I thought it looked really cool!"

"...Maybe for our time, Giotto. We HAVE been dead for 4 hundred years. Times have changed."

So I like where this is going, I also approve of the personalty you seem to be giving Yamamoto. It shows more than his care-free dense personalty, most people tend to give him. I see more layers in your approach and I like that, since I'm the type to believe people are never so clear cut.

And Camilla, can't wait to see more of her, seeing that I'm missing mine already. I like to think she went through the cycle of life and got reborn :P, regardless I love your Camilla though, can't wait to see her reaction to when she finds the other men with the gaudy jewelry. Not to mention the family dynamics when she gets closer to the mafia world.

I think that this, may be better than 'Tiger Bread', though I do really like 'Tiger Bread' as a stand alone. It seems, to me atleast, that 'Not On the Menu' is more indepth than it's predecessor, or something of that nature. I'm really terrible at explaining myself it seems, sorry about that.

You're completely right about having to kinda wing it with the character's TYL!personas and romance. I really wish they would have spent longer delving into the characters as adults, it would have been really interesting and not to mention helpful for writing fics about them. lol :P
