I haven't read a Hameron fic in so long and boy am I glad I decided to jump back in. This was perfect. This line: "I'm a kid who finds himself constantly in the same room as a beautiful porcelain vase, and I want to touch it and study it and play with it but I know that if I do, there's a good chance I'll break it" sums up House's feelings for Cameron at that time in the show in the most perfect way. Such a brilliant analogy and completely Houseian. Lovely ending, too. I so badly wanted it to be happy and romantic and it certainly was. Lovely work!
