Oh, yes. A very satisfying end to the 'whodunnit' race for blame. I've said it before in serious circumstances where everyone is looking to get off the hook by pointing fingers at others when there isn't an ounce of malice or negligence involved in an accident. Shit happens. Exactly.

Thanks for writing this more believable coda to the entire Chase Is Paralyzed story line. It needed to be said.

Great story! I love House/Chase interactions. It's good to know House do hear those words. For everyone outside things haven't changed but they have their understanding and they aren't alone even if shit happens.

You write House fantastically and truly understand him. The way he thinks one thing inside but interjects something completely different to the outside world- brilliant. You got his retorts down spot on.
Another great thing about this is that you managed to convey House's annoyance with Chase in the beginning/middle of the fic. I wanted to get away from Chase and punch him for making House feel uncomfortable. ;) I was uncomfortable!
The ending is so simple and perfect. True to the show in the simplicity that just makes you think. You're always loyal to the characters true selves. Great job friend!

Really enjoyed this story. There was never enough House/Chase for me in the series. Too many great character interactions were missing from the series. I'd like to believe this scene actually happened. I think you captured the two characters very well, could actually picture this as a scene in an episode. Love how you put all their private thoughts into words. Also like how you bring it to life by describing things like they way they were sitting/moving/looking as well as what's going on in the background.

Great story. I do love a good House/Chase friendship fic, and this was certainly well written and realistic.

I find you have an excellent grasp on House probably because this is the way I understand him as well. His feelings of self-pity are there,accepted,as well as his daily effort to battle and hide them together with his pain.
I like your prose;Neither superfluous nor to sparse as leave the reader with doubts about what you mean.
Your space visuals are also excellent:not too elaborate but descriptive enough to give an atmosphere of where the characters move.

I love this to bits! I will forever pretend it's part of the canon. Isn't it?
