As for the chapter I rather enjoyed it. For the length...I'm not really bothered by the shortness or length of each chapter. Just to let you know I do the same thing in mine. Okay, okay...enough with that.

why are the chapters so short? this chapter and the one before seem to b one chapter cut in half, it makes the storie harder to read because the flow is spliced and jagged

Ok, just a quick nit pick here from a gardener; Dahlia's didn't exist in the Warring States era of Japan which would have been in their 1500's. Dahlia's are originally from Mexico and while there are sparse records of them being described but left unnamed as of the late 1500's they were not officially discovered and named until the mid 1700's (during which they were considered a vegetable not a garden flower). Also as far as I can recall they weren't brought over into europe until the early 1800's. So they probably weren't introduced to Japan until the late 1800's or early 1900's.

In this chapter, you used reoccurance when you should have used reappearance.

It's a good story, but there are words used in error. For example, you use clamoring instead of clambering and you use menstruations instead of ministrations.
